Cowes Week part charters
This is a new option for Cowes Week, prompted by a client who sails with us in our book-a-berth programme (designed for individual people who want to go sailing). The client in question had the bright idea of bringing two or three key clients with him, so he got the benefit of entertaining them without the expense of a conventional whole-boat charter.
So: the basic idea is that we operate a yacht on which we take two, three or maybe four groups of guests. You can go cruising, in which case an appetising buffet lunch will be provided, normally taken at anchor in sheltered bay, with beer and wine included; or you can go racing, in which case a satisfying filled baguette with mineral water will be provided for lunch.
The cost is the same in either case (racing costs more to operate, so that’s balanced by the cost of lunch): £195 per person.
