Cruising at Cowes Week
The idea of our cruising events is to give our guests a taste of the excitement of yacht racing without the stress of actually taking part – and with the bonus of a proper lunch rather than grabbing the occasional bite at a baguette.
Our cruising yacht skippers will be aware of the courses set for the big-boat races, and normally we will aim to spend part of the day crusing around one of the more exciting “marks” of the course, where the spectacle of yacht racing is at its best.
For lunch, conditions permitting, we will drop anchor for an hour or two in a sheltered bay. Lunch will be an appetising buffet, with beer and wine served in moderation. After lunch ... well, it depends how energetic the guests are feeling, and where the racing is taking place.
The cost depends on your choice of food and wine, and the day of the week you want to sail – give us a call to discuss the options.
